Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance Service to Industry (ATI) of the Instituto de Cerámica y Vidiro (ICV) is a parallel service with respect to the R&D activities of the Institute. Its main objectives are the collaboration with both the ceramic companies (solving the problems that arise in the productive processes) and laboratories, technological centers and research departments (characterization of new materials).

The service performs quality control in both raw materials and finished products using European standards. Certain production processes are also developed at the laboratory scale. Another activity is to draw up official reports related to accidents or lawsuits.
